Local brand MyPhone is hauling its Android lineup into the polarizing phablet segment with the unveiling—and subsequent selling—of its latest flagship effort. The dual-SIM MyPhone Iceberg has a massive 5.7-inch touch display and is by far the company's largest phone-slash-tablet.
It comes on the heels of the release of the Samsung Mega series and Cherry Mobile Blaze 2.0, all Android-powered devices with at least 5.7 inches of screen real estate.
The MyPhone Iceberg has a pebble-shaped design, with thin sides and a mildly concave back with a smooth, aluminum finish.
However, the aesthetic touches do little to make the phablet easier to hold and operate. In fact, we'd argue that it's as near-impossible to use one-handed as its large-screened competition.
If anything, its exterior makes the Iceberg stand out in a good way. The rear itself should draw comparisons to the vaulted HTC One, and any reference to the best-looking Android device around is a compliment.
